About Provincial surveys

Participation in all Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency surveys is very important. By taking the time answer survey questions, you make it possible for Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency to continue to produce:

• Reliable and valid data
• Data that supports important policy and program decisions
• Surveys can be completed by mail, phone or online

Phone surveys are conducted during the day or evening and sometimes on the weekend. They are administered by our in house telephone interviewing staff.

Survey confidentiality

Under the Statistics Act, all information provided to the Newfoundland and Labrador Statistics Agency is kept confidential, and is only used for statistical purposes. We do not release any information that could identify individuals or businesses without their consent.
